Today, the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota announced that Salo/Oberon/Numberworks has been named the winner of the 2011 Champion for Equality Award. The Foundation presents the award annually to a Minnesota-based corporation or business for its commitment to moving gender equality forward for women in the workplace.
In a move aimed at expanding its successful professional staffing franchise in the Midwest, Salo, LLC announced today that it has opened a Chicago office to help clients there build the right depth and mix of talent to achieve their complex business goals. Salo will provide staffing solutions in finance and accounting.
Salo, Oberon and NumberWorks have each been recognized for their philanthropic efforts by the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce as 2010 Minnesota Keystone Program Participants. Each firm gave at least five percent of their pre-tax earnings back to the local community this year.
