How would you describe your role, purpose or the outcomes you drive?
I support the Salo HR team by efficiently greasing all the wheels for the sales vehicle.
How has your previous work experience prepared you for your role with Salo?
A recent college graduate, this is my first professional setting. My previous jobs at Miller Park (go Brewers!) and a costume/party supply warehouse have taught me to always expect the unexpected – and thrive on it.
How do you achieve business outcomes?
I pride myself on my flexibility and thirst for knowledge – if I don’t know how to do something, I will find out how. I also love finding ways to make tedious tasks seem a lot more fun – it ensures that every day will be different.
What impact did your upbringing have on the way you approach your work and life?
My family and private school upbringing instilled in me a strong drive to always finish what I start, as well as to respect others and value personal relationships. At the University of Minnesota (approx. 150x larger than my high school) I learned to adapt and make relationships quickly, which can take you a long way.
How would your friends describe you?
A little too obsessed with Twitter and the Green Bay Packers. Quirky, witty, motivated, easy-going, generous, a bookworm, an explorer and most importantly, an instigator…
List three interesting things about you, but only one of them needs be true.
I once helped Stevie Wonder decide that he didn’t like his iPhone. My parents built a working time machine but won’t let me use it. I graduated from college with a History, Latin & Medieval Studies degree.
What is your favorite thing about working at Salo?
The atmosphere and energy created by the people here – my friends just can’t comprehend my legitimate excitement to go to work every day.
