Customer Experience Specialist
Customer Experience | Internal Support

How would you describe your role, purpose or the outcomes you drive?

To me the customer experience team is just that, ensuring that every experience a customer or consultant has here at Salo is a positive and enjoyable one. In addition to that, it is doing the same internally and providing support to all staff at the best of my ability.

How has your previous work experience prepared you for your role with Salo?

In my previous work I have played many roles. I believe that these roles have taught me to how to take on any situation, grow, and learn from it, how to interact with customers, and how to work as a team and know each person has a role apart of that team.

How do you achieve business outcomes?

One way I achieve business outcomes is approaching any situation positively, communicating clearly and listening to others and using our combined ideas to create a greater outcome.

What impact did your upbringing have on the way you approach your work and life?

I was raised with two parents who described themselves as being “professional entrepreneurs” as well as “world citizens”. Growing up mine and my sister’s playgrounds were our parents Wearhouse in Minneapolis, stores we were helping set up around the country, and factories our parents were visiting around the world. Because of these things I learned how to dream, how to have ambition, how to love to learn and truly understand about every person, place and thing. I also learned how to network and connect with others of all ages and backgrounds. I believe I fully use these skills in my everyday life and the way I approach work, to best support a team you first must understand the individuals.

How would your friends describe you?

My friends would describe me as an old soul who could talk to the wall, passionate, creative, and adventurous.

List three interesting things about you, but only one of them needs be true.

  1. I once won a cookie dough eating contest while my hands were tied behind my back
  2. Growing up I dreamt of being Annie Oakley
  3. I almost burned down two dorms my first week of college and was given the nickname “Mac n Cheese girl”

What is your favorite thing about working at Salo?

My favorite thing about working at Salo is the closes everyone has with another. I am a very family oriented person and being at Salo everyday feels like home, I always walk in happy and always leave Happy.
