How would you describe your role, purpose or the outcomes you drive?
My role can be described as someone who helps put the puzzle pieces together. My team depends on me for a variety of tasks such as coordinating office events, providing support and keeping the office in tact.
How has your previous work experience prepared you for your role with Salo?
Working for my father’s CPA firm gave me my first introduction into the finance and accounting industry, and my other previous roles taught me how to effectively support teams to drive outcomes. At ESPN Radio, I learned how to support the on-air talent and producer and coordinate events. In my time at Groupon, I honed my communication skills both internally and externally and learned the foundation of business goals through working with clients.
How do you achieve business outcomes?
I achieve outcomes by focusing on the measure of success for my team or clients. I like to plan ahead how best to achieve my goals by mapping out different ideas or mini projects to get there. I also like to ask a lot of questions; after all, it never hurts to ask!
What impact did your upbringing have on the way you approach your work and life?
I learned the importance of building relationships from my family. I come from a semi-big family (youngest of four), and we were all very close despite the age difference. My family also owns two businesses so I grew up observing the importance of working hard for what you want and building on ideas gained from the experiences you’ve had.
How would your friends describe you?
Outgoing, easy going, reliable, giddy at times and gullible usually always (but I am working on that!).
List three interesting things about you, but only one of them needs be true.
I played an extra on the TV show “Shameless.” I can quote a majority of the TV show “Friends.” I can sing the Star Spangled Banner with my mouth closed.
What is your favorite thing about working at Salo?
I love the people and the “work hard, play hard” mentality. It’s clear that Salo’s culture strives to make clients and employees happy.
