How would you describe your role, purpose or the outcomes you drive?

I support the Salo HR team by driving client and consultant engagement, targeted marketing activities, event planning and logistics coordination.

How has your previous work experience prepared you for your role with Salo?

My previous work experience in the non-profit sector has instilled in me the values of resourcefulness and creativity, along with a healthy dose of empathy. I’ve found that incredible things can happen when driven people get behind value-driven ideas, which happens every day here at Salo.

How do you achieve business outcomes?

People are my passion. Making connections, developing strong relationships and ensuring every interaction is positive and meaningful allows me to drive organizational success and achieve business outcomes.

What impact did your upbringing have on the way you approach your work and life?

I grew up in a small town in northern Wisconsin, so the importance of relationships was instilled in me at a very young age. I was the cashier at my town’s centrally-located gas station, the captain of the football team, as well as a lead in the “Footloose” musical. I was a smiling face and leader to many people, and I’ve tried carry that legacy with me ever since.

How would your friends describe you?

Loving, genuine, and the leader of the pack. I may be the life of the party, but rest assured I’m the worst dancer there.

List three interesting things about you, but only one of them needs be true.

I was switched at birth (given to the wrong parents in the hospital). I LOVE the Minnesota Vikings, and I. Am. Batman.

What is your favorite thing about working at Salo?

This place has an incredible “why not?” mentality. It is so refreshing to work around individuals who are constantly improving and challenging one another.
