Kelli Ann Huber
How would you describe your role, purpose or the outcomes you drive?
I focus on training and providing support across many different aspects of HR to ensure all of our employees are prepared to be successful in their work with Salo and our clients.
How has your previous work experience prepared you for your role with Salo?
I have previously worked in HR for a real estate development and property management company, where I had exposure to many aspects of HR within a fast paced environment. I had the opportunity to creatively develop solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
How do you achieve business outcomes?
I strive to understand each aspect of the business or task at hand to best provide a successful outcome, while partnering on expectations and timelines. The key is understanding and communicating with your team.
What impact did your upbringing have on the way you approach your work and life?
I grew up with the mindset that your life is what you make it. My family pushed me to be independent and pick myself up by my bootstraps and get moving. I’m never not pushing myself to be better.
How would your friends describe you?
Driven, compassionate, sassy, and always doing something or running somewhere, to the point where if you put me on the couch to watch a movie, I’m sleeping within 15 minutes!
List three interesting things about you, but only one of them needs be true.
I spent 3 weeks in the UK, performing a modernized version of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible at the Fringe Festival in Edinburg Scotland. I am a classically trained singer. Winter camping is one of my favorite activities, and I go almost every year!
What is your favorite thing about working at Salo?
I love the culture here – I have never felt more welcomed in my life! Plus there is such an opportunity to learn so many areas of my field, and make connections to people with similar passions.
