How would you describe your role, purpose or the outcomes you drive?
It’s more than just a job, working at Salo fulfills my need for connectivity and my passion for helping people get to where they want to be.
How has your previous work experience prepared you for your role with Salo?
I have helped companies solve complex problems during my employment with Arthur Andersen, Target Corporation, Carlson Companies and others. I dig down to get an understanding of all the risks, what has failed in the past and why and what’s the true need. Then you can truly get to something sustainable.
How do you achieve business outcomes?
I spend time understanding all of the complexities to a problem, the gaps, system problems, cultural aspects and invest time understanding the people. From there, I can align with and support my clients.
What impact did your upbringing have on the way you approach your work and life?
I am the oldest of 5 children. My family had limited means. I learned quickly that you work hard to get what you want and that your support system is critical. My family, friends and co-workers are my sacred circle. I trust them with everything and I will fight hard to support them. I will also challenge them to make sure they get what they want in life. I treat my work the same way.
How would your friends describe you?
Full of energy…
List three interesting things about you, but only one of them needs be true.
I ride unicorns at the family ranch on the weekends. My husband and I found out we were expecting our first child on the coast of Italy. I sometimes surprise my poor husband with stray and injured pit-bulls and other large mixed breeds until they are well enough to be adopted. He is a patient man!
