How would you describe your role, purpose or the outcomes you drive?

I connect people and companies to solve business problems. I help our consultants find meaningful work and carry out their consulting career goals. I partner with our clients to take the stress out of hiring and solve complex business problems. It is my job to connect the dots for our consultants and clients.

How has your previous work experience prepared you for your role with Salo?

I started my career in the staffing industry 10 years ago as recruiter in the engineering space. At the time, I knew nothing about recruiting or engineering for that matter. I was fortunate enough work with a lot of great people who helped stretch me professionally. I have recruited, sold and managed successful staffing business. I am very excited to be learning the HR space.

How do you achieve business outcomes?

Listening and asking questions is the best way to solve business problems. Until you truly understand why or what is creating the business need, you will only temporarily solve the issues.

What impact did your upbringing have on the way you approach your work and life?

As the saying goes, “it takes a village to raise a child.” I grew up in a small town in Southern Minnesota surrounded by amazing family and friends. My parents instilled honesty, integrity and hard work in me at a very young age. The team sports I played growing up taught me how to lead and be a team player.

How would your friends describe you?

Active, fun loving, loyal and genuine. I think I am funny…I am pretty sure my friends think I am too.

List three interesting things about you, but only one of them needs be true.

In High School, I lettered in Cheerleading. My wife and I met on the 2nd night of college and have a beautiful daughter. I love roller-coasters!

What is your favorite thing about working at Salo?

The people and culture make Salo amazing place to work and grow professionally. I am constantly learning.
