In recognition of their professional achievements, senior leaders from Oberon, LLC and Salo, LLC were honored by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) with 2009 awards at the Annual NAWBO Awards Gala on April 16 at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis.
CJ DuBe’, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Oberon, was honored with a 2009 “Pioneer” Award. This prestigious award recognizes a woman business owner who is leading the way for other women in her industry.
The exceptional accomplishments of Salo’s Chief Financial Officer, Denise Doll-Kiefer, were also celebrated at the event. Doll-Kiefer was presented with a “Woman of Achievement” Award for her impressive record of professional successes.
“These two women are key players in the continuous development of our firms,” said Salo and Oberon Co-Founder, John Folkestad. “They have both proven themselves as pioneers in the staffing industry. Not to mention, they are a pleasure to work with, and we feel so fortunate to have them as members of our team.”
NAWBO awards celebrate the contributions women business owners have made to the Minnesota business community and culture, as well as to the larger national and global economies. The women receiving awards are true leaders who have forged their own paths to success, carved out new rules in business with intelligence, compassion and courage.
