Selecting an HR system
When a manufacturing client needed a new HR system, Salo helped every step of the way. The Salo team defined key business requirements, supported RFP development, assisted the client through the demonstration phase, and provided insight on which vendor was the best fit.
Building a business case for restructuring
After a technology change, a mid-size construction company asked Salo to design a business case for a proposed organizational restructure. After data collection, workshops and business process reviews, Salo defined a new organizational model that allows HR to work more strategically with the business and increase efficiencies.
Increasing employee engagement through culture
After realizing employee engagement was low, a small, service-based organization engaged Salo to help reinvigorate its culture. After defining metrics and conducting an employee survey, the Salo team led a workshop where the whole company collaborated to design a culture charter—establishing formal cultural guidelines and expectations.

Acquisition integration
For an agricultural chemicals client, a major acquisition resulted in rethinking nearly every business process in the company. Our consulting team helped transition accounting processes without any loss in controls or reporting integrity. As a result, the client successfully transitioned all accounting activities within six months.
Integrating processes across divisions
An ERP implementation required our client in the consumer packaged goods industry to standardize the financial close process and integrate processes across its North America region. Our team worked with the client’s divisions—who had previously operated their financial closes independently—to create and implement a master close schedule.
