How would you describe your role, purpose or the outcomes you drive?
I align our system infrastructure with business process to ensure that the right data gets in the right hands.
How has your previous work experience prepared you for your role with Salo?
Several years here at Salo supporting the HR consulting team gifted me invaluable insight into the full scope of organization support, reporting and dynamics within the business.
How do you achieve business outcomes?
I pride myself on my flexibility and thirst for knowledge – if I don’t know how to do something, I will find a way, guided by a “sixth sense” for systems and contextual logic. Diving in and searching for the best possible path ensures that every day will be different.
What impact did your upbringing have on the way you approach your work and life?
My family and Lutheran school upbringing instilled in me a strong drive to always finish what I start, respect others, value personal relationships and never abandon being curious. A lifelong addiction to sports stats and fantasy football helped me establish a close friendship with data as well.
How would your friends describe you?
A little too obsessed with Twitter and the Green Bay Packers. Quirky, witty, motivated, easy-going, generous, a bookworm, an explorer and most importantly, an instigator…
List three interesting things about you, but only one of them needs be true.
I once helped Stevie Wonder decide that he didn’t like his iPhone. My parents built a working time machine but won’t let me use it. I graduated from college with a History, Latin & Medieval Studies degree.
What is your favorite thing about working at Salo?
The atmosphere and energy created by the people here – friends and family just can’t comprehend my legitimate excitement to go to work every day.
