How has your previous work experience prepared you for your role with Salo?
With over fifteen years as a Human Resources practitioner, I can relate to our clients. I’ve spent my entire career within Human Resources. I’m passionate about its function, I respect talented professionals and believe in the purpose Human Resources has within an organization.
How do you achieve business outcomes?
I ask a lot of questions and don’t make assumptions. I want to make sure I’m hearing what the client is saying or asking. I then determine how best we can meet that need.
What impact did your upbringing have on the way you approach your work and life?
As the oldest of four siblings, I am a part of a team, a friend/confidant and coach – all skills I utilize in my day-to-day life. Fun was our family mantra. Values – my parent’s commitment and loyalty to family and each other never wavers.
How would your friends describe you?
Passionate about love and life, committed to people I care about, a bit outspoken, loves to host and attend “the party”, someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously, but has intention.
List three interesting things about you, but only one of them needs be true.
I was on a reality TV show. I ran varsity track and was the only girl on the boys 4×200 (800) relay team. I played drums in a rock band in my twenties.
