Jeff Turner is the managing partner of Hillcrest Capital Partners. Prior to forming Hillcrest, Jeff was co-head of the Middle Market Mergers & Acquisitions Group at U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray in Minneapolis. During his tenure at Piper Jaffray, Jeff advised hundreds of clients in a wide variety of industries in merger and acquisition transactions and significantly expanded Piper Jaffray’s geographic footprint by opening M&A offices in Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles and London. Jeff is regularly invited to speak at mergers and acquisitions symposiums around the country. Jeff began his career in the middle market structured finance group at Chemical Bank, where he analyzed, structured and negotiated leveraged buyout transactions.
Jeff graduated from Amherst College and received a Master of Business Management degree with distinction from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Jeff currently is the chairman of the Board of Forsythe Appraisals LLC and New Bedford Technology, LLC and was formerly the chairman of the Board of EZ Gard Industries, Inc. (d.b.a. Shock Doctor, Inc.). Jeff is also a member of the Board of Governors of the Jeremiah Program and the Turner Family Foundation.
