How would you describe your role, purpose or the outcomes you drive?
I provide exceptional support to our Business Development team and consultants as well as making sure that our that Chicago office has everything it needs to run smoothly. By working closely with our sales team and demonstrating a high level of professionalism, I hope to increase our productivity, sales, and efficiency. Part of my role will also be assisting with event coordination and marketing initiatives in the Chicago area to help grow our brand.
How has your previous work experience prepared you for your role with Salo?
With my broad skill set and experience, I can give our team a fresh perspective and bring new ideas to the table. What it comes down to is that I love helping people, building relationships, and learning new things- all of which I can do as a Business Development Coordinator.
How do you achieve business outcomes?
I believe that communication is key to achieving business outcomes. I work as a team player and try to solicit feedback whenever possible. I try to create a culture of collaboration with my colleagues as well as outlining goals for myself, setting expectations, and achieving those results.
What impact did your upbringing have on the way you approach your work and life?
My parents both came from humble beginnings. They have a very strong work ethic and valued education and learning, which they passed on to me. I am an only child so they did everything they could to make sure I had the tools I needed to succeed in life. From them, I learned how to be resourceful, follow my heart and to always take a step back and be thankful for what I have.
How would your friends describe you?
Genuine, ambitious, adventurous, a kid at heart, animal lover, and a sushi aficionado
List three interesting things about you, but only one of them needs be true.
I’m afraid of heights. My favorite musical is “Legally Blonde”. I’m a backup singer in a Pink Floyd Tribute band.
What is your favorite thing about working at Salo?
Salo is a perfect example of “work hard, play hard.” I love being part of a culture that not only allows, but also encourages, having fun.
