Jim Doyle

How would you describe your role, purpose or the outcomes you drive?
My role is to coach, manage, and mentor our Chicago business development team. The purpose is to help them become trusted business advisors to our clients.  We also aim to provide meaningful experiences for our consultants by matching their skills with our clients’ needs and desired outcomes.

How has your previous work experience prepared you for your role with Salo?
I have learned a lot over the course of my career, which includes over 20 years of experience in a combination of public accounting, corporate, and consulting roles. Now focused on business development, I leverage my past experience and knowledge to provide creative solutions that address our clients’ unique risks, challenges and opportunities for growth.

How would your friends describe you?
Tall, silly, positive, connector, influencer, and a great story-teller of our shared adventures.

List three interesting things about you, but only one of them needs to be true.
I obtained a perfect score on the CPA exam.

I always like to see the good in any situation.

I am still aiming to make my first hole-in-one on the golf course.

What is your favorite thing about working at Salo?
I love the energy and enthusiasm in our office. We have fun and celebrate our collective success in many ways, most notably when win a new project and bang the GONG.
