How would you describe your role, purpose or the outcomes you drive?

I am responsible for shaping the Total Rewards strategy for Salo to ensure we continue to be a stand out leader in the markets we serve.

How has your previous work experience prepared you for your role with Salo?

I’ve been fortunate to have worked in a variety of high-growth companies that have provided me with a solid foundation and extensive hands-on experience in all areas of human resources.  This gives me the unique ability to recognize gaps, develop strategy and drive business results through effective management of people and total rewards programs.

How do you achieve business outcomes?

My mantra is “seek to understand.”  I start by listening and really understanding the issue and any past practices or philosophies around it.  I then use communication, team collaboration, logic and a rational thought-process to drive the outcome.

What impact did your upbringing have on the way you approach your work and life?

I have incredible parents that taught me the value of hard work, following through on your commitments and always treating people the way that you want to be treated. My father has been very successful in business and he is a great role model.

How would your friends describe you?

Funny, dependable, friendly, logical and organized.

List three interesting things about you, but only one of them needs be true.

I am a sought-after sidewalk chalk artist. My photography has been featured in magazines. I failed hula dancing lessons.

What is your favorite thing about working at Salo?

I love the fun, collaborative spirit and that everyone is genuinely passionate about what they do.  The tunes in the office are pretty cool too.
