I have held a variety of HR roles throughout my career and I understand the impact great talent can have on an organization. How would you describe your role, purpose or the outcomes you drive?

My role as a Talent Connection Manager is to build new relationships and bring new talent to my team and Salo. While I’m bringing in talent for current engagements, I’m more often building up our pipeline asking, “could this person be a good future consultant or client?” I love it because this forward-thinking approach allows the whole recruiting process to be very organic and less transactional.

How has your previous work experience prepared you for your role with Salo?

I worked in business development and recruiting for boutique staffing firms prior to Salo. It gave me a great foundation and work ethic because unless you work for a large global executive search firm or top consulting firm, business doesn’t come to you. You really have to cultivate your own brand and reputation, have a ton of integrity and consistently bring the best talent to the table if you want to win business.

How would your friends describe you?

Loyal and always trying to make them laugh.
